SCOTTSDALE, AZ December 9, 2003--Dr. Sima Aidun announces the opening of her practice, Natural Solutions for Women. Dr. Aidun, a licensed naturopathic physician is a primary care physician who has been clinically trained in natural therapeutics. Located within the offices of Arizona Breastnet in Scottsdale, Dr. Aidun, a graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Tempe, focuses primarily on women’s health.

“The practice of naturopathic medicine is a natural approach to health and healing that recognizes the integrity of the whole person, said Dr. Aidun. “This practice is based on the objective observation of the nature of health and disease and is continually reexamined in light of scientific analysis.

In an age of rising health-consciousness, women are becoming increasingly aware of their unique health issues. At the same time conventional wisdom has been turning from a faithful reliance upon pharmaceuticals to non-traditional alternatives, specifically those which preserve the body’s own natural balance while fighting disease.

Dr. Aidun’s approach to women’s health is based on alternatives to such traditional practices as hormone replacement therapy. Her focus is on the latest methodologies utilizing botanical medicine, nutrition, acupuncture and other alternatives. Education is a key component to Dr. Aidun’s practice of general health issues and safe alternative treatment options.

“Dr. Aidun has impressed me with her knowledge of medical literature and her scientific basis for alternative treatments, said Dr. Belinda Barclay-White, medical director and founder of Arizona Breastnet in Scottsdale.“ I feel strongly that women need guidance in the area of alternatives available for women’s health in general. Although Dr. Aidun’s practice is independent of Arizona Breastnet, we are excited that she is available to advise women on alternative approaches to better health and quality of life.

Among the services that Dr. Aidun provides are: breast cancer prevention and strategies for breast cancer management, menopausal symptom management, thyroid, bone and cardiovascular
management, premenstrual management and other health conditions such as gastrointestinal, arthritis and sinusitis.

To introduce women to her practice, Dr. Aidun is offering a complimentary 15-minute consultation by appointment. For more information contact Dr. Aidun at 480-314-7600 or by email at draidun@cox.net.
